2009-2010 Schedule
CNY Skeptics schedules meetings monthly on the third Wednesday except for a couple months during the summer, and sometimes we even meet then. We also meet occasionally for Skeptics in the Pub. Here is our schedule for the 2009-2010program year.

October 21, Wednesday, Professor James Watts, Syracuse University Religious Studies Department, on polemics about scriptures in Western culture. Betts Branch Library.
November 18, Wednesday, Professsor Carol Faulkner, Syracuse University Religious Studies Department, on abolitionist and “heretic” Lucretia Mott. DeWitt Library.
December 19, Saturday, Solstice party at the home of Bryce and Judy Hand.
January 20, Wednesday, Marvin Druger, Professor Emeritus, Syracuse University Biology Department, on experiences teaching freshman biology. Betts Branch Library.
February 17, Wednesday, Ethan Kocak, creator of the animation project, The Darwin Finches. Betts Branch Library.
March 17, Wednesday, Giles Wayland-Smith on “Liberation Theology: The Oneida Community’s Perfectionist Vision in Practice,” at the Betts Branch Library.
March 28, Sunday, Greater Syracuse Scholastic Science Fair at Solvay High School. CNY Skeptics team to judge projects and give awards.
April 17, Saturday, Norm Allen, Executive Director of African Americans for Humanism, on the child witches of Africa, at the Soule Branch Library at 1:00 pm.
